Mrs Guyette, Lisa and Paul
I am once again stationed back in Europe and just received word of Dan's passing. He was definitely one of my best friends throughout high school and for several years afterwards. I wanted to take the opportunity to share a few thoughts with you. If you haven't picked up on it in the comments from his other friends, Dan had a big heart and you could always count on him to give you the shirt off his back. More importantly, Lisa and Paul, I want to be sure you know he was always proud of you. I don't know how your adult relationship was with him. I know as kids he teased you face to face, but amongst his friends he always had good things to say. A big part of my youth is gone with Dan.
Please accept my deepest sympathy, Paul

I'm really sorry to hear about Danny. We were schoolmates going back to 2nd or 3rd grade. He was the guy you wanted on your team for a sandlot football game. Plus, he was the one you could hear for miles calling out plays! :) Last time I saw him, he was working a place where our band was playing. He pulled up in his car with KISS blasting out of his speakers. It reminded me of when we were younger and how we used to debate over which band member was the coolest. I'll always have good memories of him and my thoughts are with his family.
